Accessibility

Last updated June 2026

Accessibility is part of how we build The Name Foundry, not an afterthought. We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.

What we do

  • Keyboard friendly. Menus, generators and controls work without a mouse.
  • Readable contrast. Text and controls are designed to meet contrast targets against our dark theme.
  • Respects reduced motion. If your device requests reduced motion, we turn off non-essential animations.
  • Semantic, labelled markup. Headings, landmarks and ARIA labels help screen readers navigate.
  • No time pressure. Nothing expires or moves while you read.

Known limitations

We’re a young, growing site, so some areas may not be perfect yet. If something is hard to use with assistive technology, we want to fix it.

Tell us

Email hello@thenamefoundry.com or use the contact page with the page and the problem, and we’ll do our best to put it right.
