Kinds

Five kinds, plus a mix

Each kind shapes both the sound of the name and the realm form it tends to take. Pick one to match your cosmology, or browse Any.

Celestial

Radiant upper planes of light and song, heavens and seraphic spheres, like the Plane of Aurelane or the Realm of Empyrea.

Infernal

Burning lower planes of fire and torment, pits and brimstone abysses, like the Void of Malebrand or the Pit of Gehenmoor.

Elemental

Raw planes of fire, water, air and stone, the building chaos of the world, like the Plane of Pyrelis or the Reach of Tempest.

Shadow

Grey twilight planes of dusk and silence, lands of the lost and the dead, like the Realm of Gloamwend or the Shadowfen Reach.

Dream

Shifting planes of sleep and vision, mirror-lands and waking myth, like the Plane of Somnareth or the Dreaming of Lethe.

Making a plane sound real

Let the plane lead

The kind shapes the sound, so a Celestial heaven sounds like light and song and an Infernal pit like fire and ash. Match the name to what the realm is made of, not just where it sits on the map.

Use the realm form

Set the Realm form to Plane for a cosmic sphere, Realm for a bounded land, Void for a yawning abyss, or Reach for a far waste at the edge of the map of the worlds.

Refine, don't restart

Found a name you love but the wrong title? Choose it, hit Refine, lock the name and shuffle the realm form instead.
